What do you believe is true?

Main verse: Isaiah 19:2-10, Daniel 3:13-16

Good morning!

According to the dictionary, “Truth” is the quality of being in accord with fact or reality. My question for you is, “Is the truth true for everybody?” It would be nice to say, “What I believe is true, is the ultimate truth and everything else is a lie” (Psalm 116:3-11). The reality is, everyone on this planet must chose what is right, what is wrong, and who or what will be their god. In our youth, we saw the truth through our parents, family, peers, and/or clergy’s actions considering their words and, this is how we see the world.

It is easy to proclaim our faith in the God of the Universe and in His son Jesus Christ when life is at its best. Unfortunately, storms have been known to shatter confidence and compel its victim to doubt what he/she believes to be true (Proverbs 18:17, 2 Kings 18:19-2 Kings 19:19). For this reason, the Word of God admonishes us to, “Settle the matter in our heart” (Luke 21:12-19). I encourage you to plant your flag on whichever hill you believe to be true even if it means standing alone (Joshua 24:14-15).
